2 pounds potatoes
1 large onion
2 garlic cloves
1 small red/green chili pepper
1 tablespoon garam masala
1 beef bouillon cube
2 cups water
2 tablespoons oil
How It’s Made?
Step 1: Finely mince the chili pepper and garlic.
Step 2: Chop the onion.
Step 3: Peel, wash and dice the potatoes. Cut the big ones in four and the smaller ones in half.
Step 4: Heat the oil and sauté the onion and garlic/pepper mix until slightly translucent. This will take about 5 minutes.
Step 5: Add garam masala and crumble in the beef bouillon cube. Cook for 30 to 45 seconds to get the flavors going.
Step 6: Add the potatoes, 2 cups water and a pinch of salt.
Step 7: Simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, until the potatoes are tender. The cooking liquid will have magically transformed itself into a thick, yummy sauce sticking to the potatoes.
