May — the 1st

On May the 1st, we celebrated the International Labor Day, which in Romania is an official public holiday. Most people celebrate together with friends and family, organizing picnics and barbecues. Only now I managed to share with you the traditional dish we serve in this special day. To understand better what’s all about, I think the English translation for this dish would be ‘Romanian Grilled Minced Meat Rolls’ and hope this explains a lot. I decided to eat a fresh salad too (lettuce, green onion, black pepper and soy sauce), because this is a stodgy food and you need fibers to digest it properly. This month I’ll try to be more active and post more often. I have so many things to share with you, but so little time to arrange my posts. 😦 See you next time!

    1. This is good to know. It’s a great dish, but it’s something that I eat only once or twice a year. It’s not extremely healthy and it’s a stodgy food as I mentioned.
