Crispy Roasted Chickpeas

The roasted chickpeas recipe is really easy to make, very healthy, crispy, spicy and absolutely delicious. I totally recommend it, because chickpeas have a lot of benefits for you and they can be a tasty snack if you know how to cook them.

Crispy Roasted Chickpeas
400g cooked chickpeas
2 teaspoons curry
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
4 tablespoons olive oil
2-3 tablespoons lemon juice

How It’s Made?
Step 1: You can use canned chickpeas, which are a quick and easy alternative to dried chickpeas. If you prefer the latter version, then make sure you cook the chickpeas as indicated on the label. Drain the chickpeas, shower them through a jet of cold water and leave them 10 minutes to drain in a sieve. Then place the chickpeas on absorbent paper and gently wipe them.
Step 2: Mix the chickpeas with the rest of the ingredients.
Step 3: Place the chickpeas on a tray lined with baking paper and cook them for 15 minutes at 180° C.
Step 4: Turn the chickpeas on the other side and cook them for another 15 minutes until they become crispy and golden.

    1. Chickpeas are extremely versatile. You can use it in soups, salads, main course, snacks…

I think you refer to “Hamon, the name for ham in Filipino cuisine” (Wikipedia). I guess it depends on the spices you add.
