Ghoulish Vanilla Pudding

A great last-minute idea for your Halloween party. Instead of making an elaborate dessert, keep it simple with a few ingredients and you have the most amazing Halloween treat.

Ghoulish Vanilla Pudding

I used a whiteboard marker to draw faces on some nice jars, but you can use a permanent marker on plastic cups. For the cookie crumbles (that resemble earth) you need cocoa biscuits like Oreo. I used Maronetti, which are with cocoa and coconut flakes. Going really great with vanilla and gave me that earthy texture I wanted. I’m sure you won’t be able to find them if you’re not from Romania since they are a Romanian product.
Cocoa Biscuits

1 package of vanilla pudding mix
500 ml milk (less or more, depending on the instructions on your pudding mix package)
1 teaspoon green food coloring
10 dark cocoa biscuits (for example Oreo)
chocolate flakes

How It’s Made?
Step 1: Prepare the pudding mix respecting the instructions on the label. When it’s ready, add the food coloring.
Step 2: Put the pudding inside the jars until half way full and set aside.
Step 3: Pulse the biscuits into a food processor for a couple of seconds until you obtain an earth-like texture.

Step 4: Sprinkle the cookie crumbs over the pudding cups, add chocolate flakes and place in the fridge until you’re ready to serve.
