Potato and Smoked Salmon Salad

Another day has passed and here is the next recommendation that is great for lunch or dinner and can go well into a detox plan. Salmon contains good fats that reduce inflammation and boost immune functioning. It’s okay to eat occasionally during a detox and potatoes in this salad bring amino-acids, vitamin B and pectin.

Potato and Smoked Salmon Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
500 g potatoes
2 medium carrots
100 g smoked salmon
3 garlic cloves
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh dill
salt and pepper

How It’s Made?
Step 1: Peel the potatoes and cut them into large, evenly-sized cubes.
Step 2: Trim the carrots, cutting off the top and then cut them into rounds.
Step 3: Cover the potatoes and the carrots with cold water and boil until tender (10-20 minutes).
Step 4: Line a tray with parchment paper.
Step 5: Drain the vegetables into a strainer and put them into the tray.
Step 6: Drizzle olive oil over the vegetables and season with salt and pepper. Cook in oven for 10 minutes until golden.
Step 7: Cut the smoked salmon into small pieces and add it over the vegetables. Also, add the minced garlic. Cook for 3-5 minutes until the salmon becomes a little crispy.
Step 8: Sprinkle fresh dill and remove from oven. You are ready to serve.

This hot potato and smoked salmon salad is excellent for lunch or even dinner. It has carbohydrates and proteins and is rich in omega-3 fatty acids.
