Hello, dear friends! The end of this week almost arrived and I think it’s the perfect time to prepare something nice. Because Valentine’s Day is on February 14, I will recommend you a simple carob muffins recipe that can fit well at the end of any romantic dinner.
You can add whipped cream and red fruits (like strawberry, cherries, raspberry) on top if you like. Hope you’ll enjoy it and I’m waiting for your opinions. Happy Valentine’s Day!
200 g all-purpose flour
60 g carob powder
100 g white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
200 ml milk
80 ml sunflower oil
1 large egg, beaten
white chocolate flakes (optional)
How It’s Made?
Step 1: In a medium bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, the oil, and the egg.
Step 3: Add the dry ingredients and stir just until well combined.
Step 4: Fill 12 muffin cups at 2/3 capacity. Add white chocolate flakes on top.
Step 5: Bake for 20 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted into the center comes out clean. Enjoy muffins with your lover.
