About Me

Hi, everyone!
My name is Adrian Lupşa and I was born on 29th August 1991, in Constantza, Romania.

Ever since I can remember I loved literature, reading and especially writing, making up my own stories, stepping into a fantasy world of my own. I also liked drawing and coloring all the time when I was little. At 12 years old I got a computer that changed my life. I knew what I wanted to be, what I wanted to do, so here am I – student at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at Ovidius University of Constanta.
For some time I rediscovered my childhood passion for art. I started again to write stories, draw pictures and take photos. In this moment I have a Canon PowerShot A800 camera, which is not very professional, but I’m happy with it at this moment. I still experience, I’m just getting started. Why I chose to exploit my old passions? Because during my experience in web design I discovered that I need strong knowledge in graphic design and I need good pictures and I can’t just copy them from the Internet.

On this blog you will find content from different areas of my life: recipes, book reviews, holiday events, gardening, photography, stories and much more. I am really unpredictable, always searching for something new. I hope you’ll join me for the ride.

I wanted to thank you for subscribing to my blog recently. Was wondering if I could use this as a short description of your blog for my readers’ page (link below)?: This blog is about: “Recipes, book reviews, holiday events, gardening, photography, stories & much more.” Got that from what you wrote up there ^ 🙂

  6. Just had to let you now Adrian..I found Black beets. I bought some at the Whole Foods Market. They opened last October and I just never found time to go. I invited my mother today. I told her about you and I said I have to look to see about black beets. Yes I found them.
So because of you and your blog I learned about Black beets and tomorrow I will be trying them!! 🙂

    Thanks Adrian very much. 🙂

    1. Oh,,you are referring to black radishes. I’m really glad that you finally found them and you are going to try them. 🙂 Please feel free to come back and share your opinion about them.

  7. One word. Briilliant. I love the stuff with food and how you grow your own herbs and fruits. Respect. Tons and Tons of respect. I am going to follow you for more of this. Great Stuff 🙂

    1. Thank you! I am really excited that you enjoyed the content of my blog and I am glad that you decided to join me. I absolutely love to share a part of my life through this blog and I am extremely happy when I meet new people who appreciate what I do. Thank you again! 🙂

  8. Hi Sherri! I am really honored to be nominated and I am extremely happy that you enjoy my blog. I’ll write my nominations list these days and I’m going to post it. Thank you for your support and for the nomination, too.

  9. Nice to meet you, Adrian. :0) I too am a student (Behavioral Sciences & Substance Abuse at Vincennes University- close to graduating- the precalculus is kicking my butt!) and am a photographer of 10 years or so. I want to encourage you in the area of photography: never allow others to make you feel anything less than great. There are a lot of “pros” out there who laugh at a point and shoot camera, but some of my best work was done with a point and shoot which was only a 4 PM camera. (I’ve moved up to a DSLR by now, but syill- I have a lot of love for the point and shoot.) And really, it’s not the “rig” you have or don’t have, it’s about what you can do with it!

If I can ever be helpful to you in that area- hit me up. I have a post called “Basics of Photography and Layering with Textures” (or something like that) that I posted a few weeks ago: I’m a Photoshop artist too, and teach people (sometimes) how to incorporate textures (bricks, stone, tree bark, anything really) into their images by layering and using the eraser tool. Again, let me know if I can help with anything.

I’m off to tinker around with Polynomial functions and other “fun stuff” (finals coming up) but I hope you have a great day. Take care,

    1. Hi Birgitta!
Thank you for visiting my blog and for the comment, too. Photography is only a hobby for me in this moment and I try to combine it as much as I can with other topics on this blog. I’ll probably switch to a DSLR in the near future, but currently I’m extremely happy with my baby Canon. I haven’t received yet bad reviews for my photos. Thank you for your support. I won’t hesitate to ask for your help if I need something.

Good luck with your final exam. I have mine next week. 🙂 Have a great day and thank you again for stopping by.

      1. Hey, good luck to you too on your finals. (You’ll do great, no doubt. You seem very smart.) And there’s nothing wrong with point and shoot Canons! One of my best cameras ever was a Canon G3- a whopping 4 MP. (I’d rather shoot with that than a DSLR any day.) Break a leg in school! xo
